Make your own wedding rings
Practical information
Chill atmosphere
Sweet and savoury treats, hot drinks or a glass of bubbles, we welcome you in a soft and relaxed atmosphere.
Engravings
The engraving costs €30 per ring, with up to 40 characters to engrave and a choice of around a dozen writing styles.
Price
The price for the workshop + 18-carat Fairtrade gold for the two wedding rings varies between €1,600 and €2,000 for the couple (depending on the chosen width of the rings), excluding engraving.
Certified 18-carat gold
Because it is important to us, we use 18k Fairtrade certified gold, responsibly sourced from artisanal mines in Peru. You can choose between yellow gold and white gold, according to your preferences.
Workshop content
You start by calculating the length of gold wire required for the wedding ring model you have chosen. Using files, you will then prepare the ends of the wire, then solder them with a blowtorch to form your ring. Then it's time to sand, polish and choose the finish: smooth or hammered. And why not make each other's wedding rings? 🩷

Information meeting on alliances
Whether you want to design your own wedding rings or entrust their creation to us, in both cases it all starts with a meeting at the workshop. Frequently Asked Questions
No prerequisites are necessary: we will guide you at every step, step by step. Our wish is for your rings to meet your expectations, to be comfortable to wear, sturdy, and aesthetically pleasing. You will be surprised at what you are capable of creating, even without experience!
And if, at the end of the workshop, a small unexpected mark appears, we will discuss it together: would you like to keep it as your "trademark" or would you prefer us to correct it? It’s up to you to decide. We are here to guide you, reassure you, and ensure you have a result that you will wear with pride.
We understand the attachment you may have to certain pieces of jewellery that have been passed down or previously worn. However, we do not offer the remodelling of old gold jewellery for the creation of new wedding bands.
Why? Simply because antique gold can have very variable compositions (alloys, carats, treatments...), sometimes difficult to identify precisely. This can lead to technical surprises during melting or shaping, and compromise the finish or strength of the rings. To avoid any disappointment, we have chosen not to offer this service. We only work with our 18-carat gold, certified Fairtrade, with known traceability, to ensure a result that is both reliable and ethical.
18-carat gold (or 750/1000) is an alloy made up of 75% pure gold and 25% other metals = the alloy (usually a mixture of copper and silver). This mixture gives it both its colour (yellow, pink, or white), its strength, and its durability.
It is the most commonly used gold standard in jewellery in Europe: noble, of high quality, and perfectly suited for the making of wedding rings or precious jewellery to be worn every day.
